I did when I had a Mazda3. There are line-out connectors on the back of the FlyAudio unit that you'd connect to the line-in connectors on your amp(s).

that's what i thought but wanted to confirm. might be a stupid question, but that's the better option (in terms of quality) to tapping a high level output with a LOC right? Do i still need to tap a wire for remote on?

and any suggestions for RCA cable brands? this is my first install so i want to make sure i'm on the right track.

I have had good success with both rockford fosgate and monster rca's. They can get kinda pricey but if it saves you from line noise the extra cost is def worth it.

Check out http://www.sonicelectronix.com to research a good chunk of the brands that are out there, then see if you can source them locally, or you can always order direct from sonic, onlinecarstereo.com, techronics.com etc....

I'd keep it simple and use the line-out connectors on the back of the FlyAudio unit, if you don't like it, look for a high quality LOC in the future.

A remote on wire for the amp, yes, I'm not sure where to tap that as I had an installer tackle the installation of the amps.

Make sure you take advantage of the backup camera option.

I had a flyaudio unit, but my amp and sub were on a line out spliced into the rear speakers. Current car (Jetta) has a Sub out off the back of the FlyAudio deck.
