So this is the problem, this afternoon I went to fill in my gas tank and 10 seconds into filling it the gas starts overflowing out of the gas chamber. The tank was only a quarter full and we tried filling it at three separate gas stations with the same results at each one. It also makes a air suction type noise when you open the gas cap(not sure if this was normal). This has never happened before and just wondering does anyone know the source of this problem or has anyone else encountered this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks

Check the vent tube of the filler neck.

Ya went to my mechanic earlier, he throughly examined both and couldn't find anything wrong

when filling dont put the nozzle all the way in and dont pull the trigger all the way. Dont know what the problem is but I had it happen on 2 previous vehicles.

Ya we tried everything, even my mechanic went out to the gas station with me. Everytime we even touch the trigger it would snap signaling that the tank was full. Thanks for all the advice tho

Lol my Audi would do this, it's due to pressure build up only happens when the tanks low and it's hot out. Solution is to honestly shake the car push it up and down side to side with the cap off.
