Wouldnt mind a hidden/clean inexpensive aftermarket option for myself...so how are you guys running them? I am interested in where to run the antenna and it would be a little tuning unit run through the AUX port

will try and take a picture for you later, I have mine mounted right under the AC button and above the ashtray. I am running a sportster 5 unit...
what I did for the mount was a piece of wood with hockey tape around it, and double sided tape, all my wires then run right into the dash through the air bag light. I popped that out. then run under the panels into the glovebox where I drilled a little hole for them to go through.
now I have my GPS mounted there as well under the Sirius, so I cannot use the ashtray

Got some pics for you now
so this is what it looks like:

as you can see I have lost the use of my ash tray... but I do not smoke, only put change in there, so really do not care, and I still have access to my 12v supply.
what I did for the antenna cable was run it through the glove box, out under the bottom of it and under the passenger seat, then went into the right rear kick panel then routed to the trunk, once in the trunk it goes under the floor and out the back it is routed up to the center top behind the car antenna and stuck on

Just curious why you dont just register it to youre car? Its already built in, saves you the extra antenna and gives you cleaner set up, plus I find its alot more clear.

Does the antenna have to be outside the car?

I know I have the sat button, but nothing happens when I press it - Was it only installed on some cars when checked on the options list/or all MS3s?

No
But it does need an "uninstructed view" of the sky/satellite
I ran the wires tucked inside the dash, and temporarily had the antenna pop out through the centre vent housing.

honestly... I am so used to that... I like the display and know how it works... I am a creature of habit...
not sure if the internal one has a "PVR" either like the sportster

Pretty sure if you have the SAT button youre good to go, Just have to call sirius and register youre radio with them, It wont work just for free, has to be registered first.

Yeah, you can pause and rewind with the OEM radio.

When I hit mine, nothing happens at all...Must not have it equipped which is why I was looking at little tuning boxes

Any pics of your setup? So basically...The tuner comes with an aux-in cable and a long-corded antenna. I want to keep it in my center console, so I'd have to route the antenna along the shifter surround, and up behind the dash somehow??

Sorry no pics - actually sold the unit last year.
It had the aux-out but I used the FM transmitter (wasn't sure if I was going to keep it and wanted to make sure everything was reversible)
you can run the antenna through the centre console, through the dash and creap it through the top vent panel. Double sides tape will hold it in place.
It's very easy to get behind the dash - 4 or 6 screws (IIRC) after you pull the faux-CF strip off. And pull up on the Ctr vent.

only certain models have the sirius radio set up built in. If you go on the sirius website they have a option there, that allows you to check if your car has the unit built in. All you have to do is enter your vehicle vin number

Just means your radio is Sirius capable, if you hit it and nothing happens you don't have the very expensive Sirius module required.
