On Friday, there was a severe hail storm in Eastern Ontario, I could hear the hail hitting the roof of the building at work. There's about 10 to 15 penny shaped dents on my car roof and some on the trunk. Is this going to be an expensive repair?

You can try your insurance and see if they'll cover it.

No good, I only have liability. I had comprehensive initially, but even then that was with a $1000 deductible. If the repair cost is less than $1000, I'd have to pay out of pocket nonetheless :(
It's going to be expensive... We really can't give you a price on how much it will cost... You will have to go to a body shop to get quotes.

I had a few door dings repaired at Dent doctor up in Markham two weeks ago. It was something like $50 for the first, $25 after that with $100 minimum. Maybe it gets cheaper with 10 - 15 :) I had a lot less than that. Looks perfect though, and one of them was pretty bad, on a body line.
They wouldn't give me any kind of estimate though via phone or email, only written estimate in person after they took a look.
Call kevin at dent solutions aka the dent guy..... He is worth the drive out west in both price and skill in repairing dents

Got an estimate today of $4000 before tax and labor. Turns out I had hundreds of dents most on the roof. However, if I choose to fix all the dents minus the roof (where most of the damage is), the estimate drops to about $2200. Since I don't have comprehensive, I have to pay out of my own pocket for everything.
Should I just fix the dents minus the roof or just forget about it and sell the car after a few years? My dad needs another car and he couldn't care less about the dents and is willing to buy the car from me; he didn't give a price yet.

That's over a 5 hour drive for me. I'm in the Ottawa area.
I have 3 dents on my roof due to hail...they are really small and barely noticeable, some of the quotes I was getting to get the 3 removed was kind of ridiculous. I couldn't imagine having 10-15 removed lol
