Hi Guys,

I know this may be a major newb question but I figure you guys would be able to help better than anyone. A friend of mine is getting rid of his extra set of wheels. They are "5Zigen 5ZR 18 x7 5x114.3 -42 offset" in great condition. He's willing to give me the set for $300 including rubber (good for another couple of seasons or so). I was just wondering if it sounds like a good deal and if they would fit on my ride. I've got a 2012 Sport Sky. I saw them in person the other day but I can ask him to send me pictures later.

They will fit, I can't say about the tires.
But I will say they won't look the best on your car, unless you're really into them, then go nuts.
Sounds like a pretty good deal overall.

Thanks for the tips Hyperion! I was also considering putting on OEM 17's and having them powder coated but it depends on pricing. I'll keep my eye on the marketplace and see what comes up.

Agreed, nice deal for a set with rubber.. Im running 225/40R18 on my 8.5"wide rims.. Ill sell mine for 500 lol

what is the profile of the tire?

$300 is a awesome deal, if you don't like the look, plasti dip it for now and sell it next year for something else.

Thanks man. I'm most likely just going to grab them off of him. Even if I don't end up liking them in the long run I can just sell them if someone shows interest.

225/40 18. The wheel is finished in Gun metal. I was planning to get my callipers painted blue with white Mazda logos. I think it'll look pretty good.

that happens to be the correct profile. definitely pick it up :thumbsup
