I just installed CCFL angel eyes on my 3 yesterday in place of the DRL bulbs that were in there, so my angel eyes are now my permanent DRLs. But for some reason only the passenger side rings light up when on low beam but if I switch to the high beam they both turn on.

My thoughts are that because I have a two stage low-high beam vehicle under the low beam only enough power for one set is being set through so when I switch to the high beams enough power reaches the driver side set. Anyone else have this issue? Any thoughts on what I can do?

what did you wire them up to? when i had my angel eyes they were wired to my parking lights. If i wanted to run them as DRL's i would have them on a switch

they came with pins running out of the inverter that goes directly into the socket for the stock DRLs. So basically the stock bulbs are removed and the socket for them is being used by these lights. I didn't wiretap, or run extra cables into the fuse box or anything. This is how they were made and meant to be installed, as per the instructions.

What kind of kit is that? Do they come with ballasts at all?

Nevermind. I actually got my mechanic to look at it and he knew what the issue was. He just ran a separate circuit for the halos to a constant 12V. looks amazing.

Now if only I could figure out how to upload an avatar picture on here.....
