Saw the article and video last night. Coach claims he slipped. Not a chance, clearly intentional. He needs to be banned from coaching, and spend a day or two in jail . Just complete bush league.

Guy is a prick... just don't let him coach. No need for jail or arrests.

You can't really tell if he did it on purpose or not. You would only be able to tell if you knew what type of guy he was :s

But if he did... he should get taken out back and gotten his ass kicked.

One of the kids suffered a broken wrist, this "coach" needs some life lessons.

Just saw the second video... TOTALLY did it on purpose. What a mother ****er... if that was my kid I wouldn't stop till the guy never coached again.

Id be on that ice in seconds sending that coach to the hard ice in seconds if I was there. How the hell does a grown man do that to a kid??

^ I wish one of the kids would have just dummied him. But I am glad none did.

I remember once a parent poured coffee on a guy on our team so he threw his helmet into the stands.

Hockey is weird sometimes.

Edit: After watching the video looks like the coach has been doing a fine example of instructing those kids all year...

Terrible.

As a general rule of thumb, sports bring out the absolute worst in humanity. Hockey players are the worst.

A grown adult who's supposed to be a role model intentionally tripping a kid after a hockey game, thats just wrong man.

As someone who's played the game for 15 years, gonna have to disagree with that post.

This coach is ridiculous, never seen something like that in my time playing. Worst I've had is my team getting booed off the ice in a Lake Placid tournament.. we were down 6-1 in the championship game so bunch of guys on my team decided to play a more "Canadian" style of hockey, and American parents weren't too pleased with that :chuckle

Agreed. Saying hockey players bring out the worst in humanity is ridiculous and unfounded, to say the least.
