Hi guys, noob here, so sorry if this has been discussed already!

So I just replaced my cabin filter and after putting everything back together, I found that my horn did not go off when I double clicked to lock my car. I tried the panic as well, but still no sound. The lights go off, but no sound. The horn itself works though. Also, not sure if this is related, but when the key's in the ignition, the warning chime when the driver side door is open also does not go off. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be?

are you sure you plugged everything back in correctly on the fuse box?

go back to the sude box and disconnect everything again. now for each plug, put it into the corresponding slot. push it in HARD and clip it in at the same time. just cuz the connectors in and u clipped it in doesnt mean theyre making contact. i had to learn this the hard way... nearly nothing worked on the car after i did my cabin air filter.

Did you disconnect the battery while changing the cabin filter? Pulling the fuse panel under the glove box with power still connected seems to confuse the computer(s). I forgot and when I un-plugged one of the plugs on the fuse panel the windshield wipes started going. When I got everything buttoned up the check engine light was on. I disconnected the battery ground for a few minutes while I checked the oil (just to be safe - this was less than a week since I changed the oil) and topped up the washer fluid. I reconnected the battery and everything has been fine for a few weeks now.

Yup I had all doors, trunk and hood closed lol. I eventually went back and unplugged the connectors to the fuse box, reconnected them more firmly (as mentioned by silverstar) and voila, everything back to normal. Thanks guys!

Not to thread jack even though it was solved but, with the 2011 is one click on the remote enough? I've always double tapped for the Horn sound as the soudn queue is what I've looked for since thats what my parents do, but I'm not sure that's even neccesary.
