Tire size Question. Need Opinion

[Mazda 307]

I have 18x8 rims and need tires for them and can not decide on tire size. Been getting diff. size recommendations from a few shops.

Rims are 18x8 with an offset +40

Been getting sizes

1) 215/40/18
2) 215/45/18
3) 225/40/18
4) 245/35/18

225/40/18 should fit easy. I think, you can even go with 235/40/18 IIRC. 215 is a little on the narrow side so I wouldn't go with that.

225/40 is proper. IMO, if you're afraid of rubbing, go with 215/40
