Are there vendors that sell used tires specifically? in sets of 2 with even wear?

Planning on buying some rims that have 2 tires gone. Was hoping to just swap the two with used tires for the rest of the season and pickup a set of decent tires next summer, but not sure how hard that would be to find since I'd be selling my current summer setup.

Anyone know a good vendor for something like this?

(225/40/18 specifically).

Cookstown auto has used tires I believe. I've seen a bunch of sets there before but I'm not sure if they'll have the size you need. It's also very close to you.

There is a shop called "2nd Time Around"

There are 2 locations - 1 in Scarborough (Kennedy and Progress) and the other is in Whitby/Oshawa area

Price IIRC is around $50/tire installed. VERY rarely do they have full sets. Sometimes have pairs

I look into all these. But wouldnt the 2 tires on the same axle have to have the same tread pattern and wear?

Would I just be better off getting 2 new tires now and then 2 new ones next summer? The only problem i see with that is I will always have uneven wear.

Call around to various collision centres and see if they have any used/salvaged tires. A lot of times they pull them off cars e written off. I'm going to see a guy in Richmond Hill after work for my car, there's no guarantee hell have a pair though, if you're lookingt these asap we can go together.
