Moderators if this is out of line I understand & you can take it down immediately
I want to issue a warning to all TM3'ers and hopefully this can circulate along other Toronto/GTA forums that I was followed and almost put into an accident by a person I have never met before.
I was driving the speed limit in typical Mississauga traffic on Burnhamthorpe Road North just East of Hurontario Street when a Black Lexus RX 350 cut me off nearly clipping my hood then on top of that the driver brake checked me, I'm thinking in my head WTF? I had my family in the car so I just let it fly - then long story short the driver then changes lanes slows down gets behind me and starts tailgating me and beeping and high beaming me - I could careless at this point and turn into the gas station to get a drink.
When I enter the gas station booth, lone and behold I see the same Lexus turn in and park to the side of the gas station & a women with sunglasses starting at me. Anyway when I leave the gas station she then starts to tail gate me again (my family still in the car) and beeps and once again cuts me off as I'm in Lane One. At this point I'm pissed off and turn into my destination and my family goes upstairs to visit some friends and the same Lexus turns in again & this women parks on the other side of the lot, puts down her window and glares at me with her glasses covering her eyes and the Lexus windows tinted so dark I couldn't see through (pretty sure there was something obstructing the window). So while she was staring at me I shouted "smile" took this picture:

http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h368/Checkmate2012/WANTED.jpg
If you see her, please be careful - I have no idea what this lady issue was or why she was following me. On top of that the Lexus had no front plates & I wasn't really paying attention of the rear plates. I called my friend over and he came and blocked her from leaving with his truck as I took off so she couldn't follow me any longer. Shes driving a Lexus RX like this one:

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OpUDUev4agE/TSSQhZkiKjI/AAAAAAAAAGY/B2Rzo_yzwvk/s1600/2010-lexus-rx-350_5.jpg
I am definitely buying one of those dashboard cameras now because this was ridiculous - why would she want to hit me with a Lexus? I'm starting think this is another "Ragu" incident.

Creepy... and very very strange/suspicious
In reality it could be any number of possibilites though.
Maybe you made a move earlier in the drive that sent her into a rage (god knows what, she looks mighty unstable)
Could be trying to pull a insurance scam, or some other damn thing... but in a Lexus ??
That face is bugging me now, she looks so smug !
Good move on having your friend give you room for the getaway.
And I do have to close with why the heck didn't you call the cops???

After all that you didnt manage to call the cops and/or take her plates down (in the back). That would have been my first instinct. Pull into a lot, Staying in the car, and get to her plates.
Really creepy, can't see her face since its blocked at work. Things like that are creepy, you never know if she's unstable and ready to just snap and go ape shit.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWW that's soooooo creepy!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell.... God... Im gonna have nightmares about her. Scary shit, glad nothing bad happened.
And FYI, Canada Computers has great little dashcams for like $40-60. Great investment for a fairly cheap price.
Seems bizarre, i would think rather you pissed her off some how, whether you REALLY did soemthing or not isnt clear, you never know with some people. Sometimes if you LOOK at someone the wrong way they freak out, mostly because they are just crazy. I doubt it waas a Ragu thing, she wouldnt have followed you and literally waited in the parking lot. This bitch had something personal.
I can't eblieve you didnt get her plate. Fail on that one.

sounds like a case of mistaken identity. I think she may have assumed you were someone else...
document this event and call the non-emergency line for your local police. don't take it lightly, protect yourself and your family. i had a similar incident like this and was chased and harassed by 2 cars, one was actually an rx as well. after they scouted me and a friend on my friends driveway i found them waiting at the bottom of the street, thats when it started. a few days later a grow-op was busted across from my friends house. i hope you got the plates

Can you also post up the plates?

If you dont want the big bulky ones and dont wanna pay for a Blackvue, you can always do the ghetto method I do, get a windshield mount for your phone, mount it up and record. I don't get full angles but it will get the plate of the car infront of me and to the left and right when they get into view.

Funny enough while it was happening I was thinking back to the Justin Bieber situation when he called 911 for being followed. When she cut me off the first time I thought she was trying to make a quick left turn, until she stomped on her breaks with loads of room in front of her - when you have your family in the car (particularly all women) it aggravates you more but you gotta keep your cool. Believe me when I say I kick myself for not writing down the plate number.
I didn't approach her at the station because my family was in the car & I didn't know how many people she had in her SUV or anything, the rear tint was way too dark & that's when I noticed she didn't have a front plate. I should have called the police but it didn't click then for some reason. I knew I wasn't far from where I had to go & knew my friends would be there to back me up. He blocked her with his work truck pretending like he didn't see her, he told me she was alone after & sped out as soon as he moved.
To put it into to retrospect, for every foolish driver you see on the road - do you record the plates of each one of them? I didn't know she was going to follow me.
When I head down to that area I'll be prepared this time, getting a dash camera by next week hopefully if I see a quality one. Thanks I'll check out Canada Computers.

It's easier to say that when it's not happening to you. I for one would probably not approach someone. I'm not a big guy either, but you never know when someone like that might snap and get real violent. I dont know if she's armed, I don't know if she's got a mental problem, I dont know if there are other people with her. I would just have got plate numbers and taken her for twist and turns.
It changes when you have family too. If my family was in my car I would not do anything but take plates and call the police. Maybe I'm paranoid but its how I was raised, my dad wont honk people cuz he's worried he'll honk at the wrong person.

When I see a driver worth noting (stupid/bad driver/etc), I would say (loud enough that its part of the recording) the license plates while my dash cam is recording. It saves you the time of writing/typing it down and it's part of your statement as you replay the recording.
In your case, it would've been tougher to remember. But once you have a dash cam, I think that'll be helpful.

+1...You have no clue about this person, keep your distance and record the plate no. (if possible)...too many farked up people out there, you need to protect yourself and your family. For what it's worth I think Checkmate handled it properly, in that he and his family are safe.

Just write the plates down next time. If you think the driver easily spotted you then have one of your rear passengers write it (or take a pic) down it for you.
Or next time just put a fake webcam until you can get a good one and show the driver the cam!

Pretty unnerving especially with family in the car! I wouldn't have approached her either, you never know what they are thinking or carrying or...whatever.
Unfortunate that no-one was able to get the single plate but if there was not one on the front, who knows if the rear one is legit...
That's sure in my neighbourhood though.

Well I wouldn't be scared if I was alone and I knew my family wasn't in any danger. But sure if my family was in the car, I would have taken the plates and called the cops. I was just stating what I would have done if I had been in that situation.
Turok is a huge guy
Though the way things have been in the GTA lately, size doesn't matter. I'd be more scared of getting shot, and I'm being serious.
Edit: and just to add my comment, I think the OP did exactly what he should have done, and in the end he and his family are safe and that's all that matters.
Actually in that situation you don't think to remember the license plate.... I've gotten chased down by a silver Mercedes driven by a huge black guy who chased my car, cut me off and then got out of his car to threaten me. I just wanted to get the hell out of there and forgot the plate
I'm gonna buy a dash cam soon too
