How are you calculating this though? If you're looking at the trip computer, I'd say don't. :)

AP and OEM computer values are pretty much the same as it's getting numbers from the engine ECU. How much do you get a tank?
EDIT: Unless the AP measures your tank and km/tank and does the calculation...

First mistake is getting anything done @ Brampton Mazda. I am never going there again since they screwed up my electrical.

Question about the A/C
Does the A/C use the same amount of gas whether it's on half or full?

Before you accuse people off f#$king things up on you car you better bring the back up to confirm it. Honestly how can a oil change mess with you fuel comsumption..REALLY. I think its more from the driver then the car giving you the crappy fuel comsumption.
Yes I aggree hot weather makes our cars run like s$%t but it also comes down to the way people drive the car.
This was my fuel consumption this past Saturday mind you it was highway driving but I was in the city yesterday and driving on the 410 today and my avg is still the same.

Should be the same, I think. Compressor works constantly when AC is on. The half or full you're referring to is dependent on the fan only.

That's right waste more fuel... Then you ask why you have shitty gas comsumption. It might be the fact your sitting in traffic.
Why is it I never have a problem with Mazda of Brampton. I just went in for an oil change a few weeks ago and my fuel avg's are good plus they are going out of there way to help me out a few other things (Phil not one word...lol) This is getting old when people always try to push the blame of on someone else when the car is not running good.
If you wanted awesome fuel millage should have bought a smartcar and put pink fogs on it.

A/C in hot weather = more fuel consumption....it's not rocket science. you're better off taking brampton transit everywhere rather than just working to drive the damn car.

I've been getting anywhere from 500-600km to the tank at 70/30 hwy/city but I don't use my a/c very much I roll down the windows. Use the trip odometer to gage how much your using b/c I find the range on the info is usually way off

You sir fail. TM3 is about helping one another, correct. Whether that be giving you information to help solve your problem or perhaps point out when a question asked is simply ridiculous and redundant. Also it is the members responsibility to search a little bit and educate themselves where they can. You have been on the forums long enough to either know the answer to your question or use the tools provided with the forum software to search for the answer.
If you do not know how to search or perhaps have some common sense with a question such as this then the fault is not the members on TM3. People are likely to make rude and criticizing comments when you have done nothing to find the answer yourself.
Please use the search tool and find some of the information provided on the forum. No matter what vehicle you drive, gas consumption is usually affected by the same factors.
