Hi Guys,

I just picked up my 06 Mazda 3 GT (manual tranny) this past weekend, and just figured out that it has a remote starter on it. It is from "www.autostart.ca" model AS-1775. I followed all of the steps in the guide to get the car to go into "Ready Mode" and when I try to get the car to go into "Ready Mode", the car flashes 4 times, which indicates a "Brake Shutdown" according to the troubleshooting guide that is in the manual. Does anyone know how to fix this? Let me know if you need any clarification on anything, pics, etc.

Thanks for any and all help,

JP

I've followed the user guid step-by-step to activate the car into "ready mode". But as I said, 4 flashes come up, which means the car failed to go into "ready mode" because of a "Brake Shutdown". Do you have this remote starter as well?

I've followed the user guide step by step, but still have the same problem. Do you have this model also?

Have you tried calling their technical support line?

Sorry I don't have the same one. I have a Compustar RFP2W9000. You may want to contact Lockdown in Scarborough, a sponsor here on TM3. They did my install.
