Hello all,
I have a 2012 Mazda 3 sport GS and I am constantly experience a very annoying rattling or tapping sound coming from the sunroof on my car. I've taken it to Achilles Mazda in Milton twice, the first time they said they fixed it and it was fine for a few days, then boom all of a sudden it starts happening again. It almost sounds like a piece of metal or plastic tapping on the glass when the sunroof is open all the way and is tucked in the roof of the car. I'm not sure if the slide cover is hitting it or its some sort of metal bracket piece that is making the noise, either way it's annoying as all hell. Has anyone else experienced this noise? It seems far more prominent when the car has been sitting over night and not running for a good 30 minutes into the drive, after that the noise is still there it's just far less noticeable. How can one enjoy the nice open sunroof with this stupid rattle noise? I only picked up the car in February so it's barely 6 months.
Any suggestions, thoughts?
