Gen 1 wheels on a Gen 2?

Looking at buying a set of gen1 wheels so I can mount winter tires on them to use on my 2012 Speed. Will I have any issues with fitment? I know they are slighty different: 18x7" with a 52.5mm off set for the gen 1 vs 18x7.5 52mm offset for gen 2. OEM tire size isn't absolutely important, dont want to really use spacers or anything like that either

Its a good suggestion... but I think he already has his winter tires, and selling the tires and buying OEM rims WITH winter tires may be a bit complicated for him.

Also, you could also look for non-oem rims, you may get lucky and find something that is almost the exact same specs (I did for my summers AND winters)
