HOW TO: change lcd time in certain aftermarket H/U 's without removing HU

Not confirmed with how many units this works with but if you got a HU from GTA Fine Cars, and your unit has the "CAN BUS" feature, it is fairly simple:

1) turn on HU / LCD
2) select "Aux"
3) hold the "next track button " ( >>| )
4) your LCD should now show 12/24 hours
5) press |<< to toggle between 12 and 24 hours if you want to otherwise skip to step 6
6) press the " >>| " button again and it should show Hour Setup ( press |<< to change hour)
7) press >>| again to switch to Minutes ( again, press |<< to change minutes)
8) press >>| one last time to confirm changes

again this currently is only confirmed for the "CAR A/V" system that comes with most Mazda 3's from GTA Fine Cars but might work with some other similar ones provided you have the "CAN-BUS" agreement

no problem :D ( I knew atleast some of you out there would want to see this)

As for trip computer, I dont think its possible as I have heard that the actual hardware required to run the trip computer lies within the stock head unit. But Im not giving up hope.... Im just having a hard time finding much info as the company that makes the unit ( car a/v) does not seem to have any website for information.... :(
