There is A LOT of energy stored in an inflated truck tire. For reference, the average tractor trailer tire has got 100-110 psi in it, some go as high as 130 psi. Search truck tire zipper break or truck tire explosion on youtube if you want to see what kind of damage it can do....

does it matter if the tractor tire has a tube inside? or would it pretty much be as strong?
