So i have a front mount intercooler and short ram intake under the hood. today i removed the intake manifold to give it a nice paint job. upon reinstalling it, at start up the car revs high and then goes very unstable and low rpm's and stall's. back when i installed the intercooler i forgot to tighten a clamp and it reacted the same way until i tightened it and it was perfect. i already checked all the clamps and hoses and everything is hooked up the same way.
I dont know if its the manifold gastket or even the throttle body gastket or what? but the car is undrivable...
any ideas?

my guess is a vacuum line isn't connected though...
Why did you paint the intake manifold?

well, i took off two lines leading to the manifold, i didnt fully disconnect the TB, i just unbolted it. when i first started it, the intake hissed lowed and the rpm started fluctuating and then started stalling, all hoses are reconnected back to the original ports, i triple checked lol. Ill try the reset and if nothing changes ill take it slow to the shop tomorrow and see whats up, on the bright side it looks beauty tho! ;)

Just to give the engine more of a clean look, everything after swapping the top mount was dirty and rust stained so im working at cleaning it up!

replace all the gaskets and make sure all hoses are hooked up
you needed to replace the gaskets the minute you took this all apart! that's common knowledge!
