Anybody Have Any Good Pics of 2010+ Sedan LED 3rd Brake Light?

As the title says I'm looking for some pictures of the 2010+ sedan LED 3rd brake light. Preferably the smoked one, not the red one. I would like to buy one but I'm not sure how well it will match the factory LED tail light lenses.

I'm looking for mostly DAYTIME pictures. I'm not concerned with how the LED output looks, but how well the lens/housing matches the factory brake lights.

I feel like I might have seen one or two on here but not many... I've looked through google and didn't find any good pictures. So if you have any pictures or can take some, post them up!

The eBay pictures of smoked lenses all look black, so I don't know what the deal is... They look light gray off the car and black on the car.

I have the smoked one on my 2010 sedan and it looks good. The only thing i have to do now is tint the tail lights to the same level of darkness as the brake light.

I will post a pic tommorow so you can see it:)

I've seen yours in your ride thread and they look awesome. I'd like to get mine tinted too but there isn't a place that I know of here in Thunder Bay that I would want to do the work lol. Thanks for offering to take more pictures though.

So it is quite a bit darker when it's on the car compared to when it's just sitting on a bench or something. I feel like I'd need to have the tail lights tinted for everything to match nicely. Not too sure what to do now... I don't really love the red one since it doesn't match much on the LED tail lights either. Someone needs to make a clear one or something!

Hey Wes08M3, no problem! Thanks for the great comment, I'll try to take one with my tinted ones for a comparison. Damn... sucks you don't have more option in your area... if you do go the tint route, I'm sure there are sponsors you can buy material from if the tinted 3rd brake light isn't dark enough.

Certain models (perhaps only in other countries, I'm not really sure) had a slot in the 3rd brake light to open the trunk with the key (I think).

So there's a break away cover on the lens so you can either use the slot or keep it covered if you don't have that feature.

thanks! i think id rather have one without the breakaway cover just to keep the lens all one piece( not seeing the cutaway part) but if thats just a button, so when you push it, up comes the trunk, than thats cool.

Yea apperently some models have a trunk release function so in that case you just pop that little part out and tada!

If you want an LED 3rd brake light I think they only come with that little break away cover. I don't think you can get one that has a lens without it.
