the rotary engine is gone. hopefully they replace the rx8 with something nice!

yea the RX7 is one beautiful car. my buddy has a 1993 R1 right hand drive and apart from the paint being a bit rough it drives like a brand new car, he got lucky and his had 61 000 original KM. so hes got some big plans in the works but awesome video and wicked find and if you ever get a chance to take one of these cars for a drive, stock or modded it will put a small on your face every time.. except when you have to fill it up. a 75L tank on 94 oct get expensive at between 250 -450 km per tank ( depends how hard you drive)

yea we went and looked at about 5 before he got lucky with the one he found. it only had an HKS exhaust and was stock from there less the boost gauge and crappy deck that he repalced when he got it home with one from his last car. but it was sure the most maintained car i had seen with all records for it as well. if you cant find one flip talk to the guys are right drive http://www.rightdrive.ca/ thats where his came from originally in 2008 -

Yeah John, one of the guys from Rightdrive occasionally comes by our dealership. I test drove the red GT-R that's for sale on there now.

ive seen the orange one in person, which looks better in the pictures and we went to see the blue one as well. made some off sounding engine noise and i cant remeber what he said was wrong with it but gave me the impression it was over heated. but he rebuilt the vehicle himself as he had worked at a mazda dealer somewhere or so he said.
