Wow.
My ex loves the dance show so I watched a few. And this guy is mind blowing.
The style seems a lot like popping. I know of the guy ( Philip) who was on 2 different shows 3 deferent seasons and won one of them. ( America's best dance crew). This guy stacks up, I love the style of dance. It would be nice to see a " battle" between this guy, Philip and Robert moraine.
I'm sure there is many more who dance this style but I don't know enough. I don't dance, and haven't since my high school prom.

Timing is a fraction off from the video editing software... Watch it in HD for full effect.
On side note but still the same topic of dubstep. That dancing was pretty amazing but this video of this guy who knows how to make his own dubsteps beats is probably just as awesome. Nothing is sped up at all, everything is in real time. Not sure how to keep up that pace but it is pretty wild! Just thought I'd share since its very similar in the same category of music. Sorcery is all i can say...

Crazy to watch but if I was just listening to it, I wouldn't be nearly as impressed. For the record, he's not making his own beat, he's just playing back the beat from three popular Skrillex songs and mixing it up ever so slightly. When he sped up, it sounded like ass, the novelty was simply in him hitting the keys that fast.

I can always appreciate an artist, and someone who can take the time and energy to learn a particularly complicated skill like the dancing shown in the first video.
With that being said... am I the only one who thinks the dance in no way matches or lines up with the music?
Of course it probably doesn't help that I am not a big fan of any dubstep (back in my day... used to be called electronic)

The dance is to the beat, not the melody or lyrics. Dubstep relies on the percussive elements so if you pay attention to that, you'll notice the moves lining up with the beat a little more.

oh i know it's music. it just happens to be the worst kind
Skrillex was better when he was Sonny Moore in From First To Last. He quit and helped turn dubstep from an aspect of electronic music into an entirely new genre. It's like Slash saying he's only going to solo from now on, and releasing a 10 song album with 4 minute songs of him just noodling on a guitar.

Skrillex jumped on the bandwagon in my opinion. It was already it's own distinct genre in Europe. Skrillex helped make it main stream in other parts of the world though.
