View Full Version : Budd's E-mail Tactics
Hey,
I keep getting e-mail from Budds', Which isn't REALLY a bad thing.
THe only reason i'm posting, is I've done the following to unsubscribe:
Clicked Every "Unsubscribe link" on every e-mail they've sent me in the last 3 months
Called Reception, asked to be removed twice.
E-mailed Jeremy (who DID reply and said he'd handle it)
Its getting quite Annoying! Whats the point of having an unsubscribe link if it doesn't work!?!
I've gone as far now, to ask that they remove my e-mail from ALL of their systems.
Hopefully that works!

I actually think it's illegal for that link not to work.

Alex, why didnt you send Andrew or I an email or PM? i would have been able to make sure they were turned off for you right away.. and who is Jeremy? ive been here for 3 years and havent worked with a Jeremy yet.
All you had to do was say something and we would have taken care of it. the last thing we would want to do is to annoy you.
Oops. Just skimmed the e-mail, Its Jerry, Not Jeremy.
I've also got a response from Rob Bartlett who the front desk was kind enough to let know of my issue.
I wish Garage16 had unscribe button...i bought one thing from them and now i always get emails from them rrrrrrrrrrrrr
Impressive

No unsubscribe button? That's straight harassment in that case.

nope
I might make a thread about it soon if Rick doesnt do something about it (i have sent email in the past asking to be taken off the mailing list). Every few weeks/month I have to clean up hundreds of garage16 email. I am unable to relegate all of it to junk as I receive and or have invoices (which i must manually filter when cleaning up). As far as I'm concerned it paramounts to spam.

I'm sure its not intentional. I think they have a number of systems in place, and I also have 2 cars registered there (my fiance's and My own)
I started to opt out when I got a "buy your mazda3" back" and I've been unsubscribing ever since.
its not a huge deal, I just want it sorted. i guess I could just block the domain all together, but if I they were to e-mail me directly I'd still want to get it!

Do it.... Their no reason why he needs to send emails all the time.... All his emails go in my junk mail now

RE: Garage16
I think there is an unsubscribe link on their website where you enter your email. I've done that several times, but am still getting emails from Rick.
