I have a 2004 mazda 3 GT and I want to install HID fog lights on it.
I want to get the white-blue coloured foglight (6000k). I was wondering if I should get the 55w or the 35w? Can my car handle the 55w foglights?

if you want white go with 6000k. if you want blue-ish go with 8000k. get a 35w kit, it wont be as bright as 55w but 55w might melt the housing since its not designed to run that hot. our fog lights dont put out a lot of light either

.I reccomend you stick with 35w... My 35s get pretty damn warm after a while, and if i had 55, I imagine i would be tempted to swap them for 35.
I have 35w 3000k fogs with 35w 5000k headlamps. Was going to go with higher K, but decided on the traditional yellow fog color

35Watt is the way to go. 55W is simply too bright and too un-reliable!

if you want white go with 6000k. if you want blue-ish go with 8000kEh? 6000k is bluish white (like the OP said). 5000k is actual white. 8000k is blueish purple. But the OP wasn't asking about that anyway
