04 sedan factory alarm disable?

Factory alarm has been going off randomly. I want to know if there is a way to disable my factory alarm. Key dance? Button sequence? Etc...

did you get the shock sensor installed? it's adjustable... look behind the passenger side kick panel

Ive had the car about 4 yrs. never been to dealer. Will check for this shock sensor. Doubt i have one. If i do not have one installed, is there a way to disable the alarm?

it would have been installed if your car had the SSP75 door lock recall done

Ahhh. Guess ill call the dealer to ask about that then.

the easiest way to find out is if you lock the doors, then give the passenger side window a good smack... it should set the alarm off if there's a shock sensor
then if there is, you can take off the passenger side scuff plate and then take off the kick panel to adjust it

it's that little black matchbox sized thing above that big white connector in the pic
the adjustment knob is on the side.... clockwise is more sensitive, counter-clockwise is less sensitive

I looked and i do not have the shock sensor.
There must be a way to disable the factory alarm.
