Ya, I'm starting to get that as well. My driver seat also rocks in the rails a little bit too. More than likely its related.

Spray Lube inside the seat belt buckle ... It should solve the problem

seat rocking issue and seat belt buckle noise issues are known issues and bulletins were issued for them... fixes are available

Every fall we get this issue pop up as it starts to get colder.

What Aris says below usually works. Just don't go overboard spraying the buckle as you will find that the sensor that determines if the seat belt is on will no longer work until the oil(WD40) dries out. Nothing worst than replacing an annoying squeak with the chime of no seat belts buckled.

I have also found that sometimes my seat clicks in unevenly on either rail. sometimes one side is a little farther ahead causing the seat to be slightly sideways, causgina squeak.

a possible cheaper fix for the belt buckle is to wrap 5 strips of 5mm felt tape on the wave washer... it's in an earlier TSB that the one I linked replaced... apparently it didn't work well enough, that's why mazda decided to replace whole belt buckles instead
but this is cheaper and you can try this first if you want.... part number is K001-W0-225 for the tape... it's precut into 5mm wide strips... all you got to do is cut off any excess after wrapping :)

the tape isn't cheap as it's for many belt buckles... you'll want to get with others on a "group buy" and split the costs ;)

otherwise, if you're going to go at it alone, then a new belt buckle costs a little bit less than that tape

yep. my driver side seat moves a bit as well. it doesnt shake or rattle. but there should be a bit of play on the seat it self. but not shakes and rattles. but that could be base, backing, head rest. did you take it in for an inspection?
