My wipers are jumping across the wind shield when I use them, it's not a little jump it's pretty big, It's sound is annoying and it doesn't clear the screen properly. It will do it wet or dry, I tried cleaning the blades that didn't help. I put rain-x on the wind shield, that also didn't help with the jumping, But if I drive fast the windshield clears it's self ;) :P

So, Does anyone have any suggestions on how to maybe fix it, before I have to take it to the dealer?

Thanks :)

There should be some sort of adjustment but IMO take it to the dealer. I assume it would be warranted.

wiper blades maybe binding, that will cause the wipers to skip
you should still bring the car to the dealer because this is covered under warranty... why pay something to fix this?

Your car is new right? It’s from the wax the dealer uses to clean the car (overspray), trust me, I know what you’re talking about. So, the trick is......ready? Get toothpaste and rub it into the windshield evenly and buff it out, sounds crazy but it removes anything that is stuck on the window. You know how you get the wiper marks where they reverse on the window? well, this also gets rid of that too. Giver er a try! :)

wax the dealers use to clean off overspray?... on a new car?.. not sure why a new car would have overspray but it would have maybe some fallout or dirt from transport. but never thought about tooth paste on the glass. best would be to take it back to the dealer and have them clean the glass or replace the wipers. why do it yourself if its under warranty.

I think he's saying that the dealer may have oversprayed wax onto the windshield.

First take it to dealer. If that fails, and you suspect it's wax, perhaps try Dawn dish detergent on the windshield. It's supposed to strip wax off.
I guess toothpaste might work since it's an abrasive but Dawn would be much easier and non-abrasive.

Yeah, I ended up cleaning them more and it started to go away over a week, so far they haven't been a problem again. But I haven't driven in much rain.
