Ok so recently I have brought my 3 for an oil change and the mechanic noticed that it was wet around the oil pan indicating that it was leaking oil from where the gasket is. Now i'm just wondering if this is normal to happen already or if anyone has experienced this same problem with your own car. Mine is a 2010 and it only has around 115,000 KM's. The leak doesn't look too bad but i keep an eye on it incase if the oil level drops too low. Would anyone know how much it is to change the gasket and where would be the best place to bring it cause i really do not want to go to a dealership if you know what i mean. Thanks a lot !

is it leaking right where the transmission bolts up to the engine? if so, that is "normal"... mazda sprayed too much anti-rust oil on the transmission during manufacturing and so it started to seep out after people got their cars

I believe so but i'm not sure. I remember last time i checked it that it was close to the oil filter, on the left side of the oil pan pan near the top corner so it could be close to the transmission. I only got the car sprayed once with the rust protection when i bought it back in 2010.
