Putco bulbs @ DRL's

Anyone have experience with these as DRL's? Read a few threads where they are mentioned but no one seems to make any comparison with, say Nokya or other brands. From what I can tell it seems they work well and havent seen anyone make mention of melting?

I have the Putco Ion Spark Whites for my DRL's / Low beams in my GMC

the light output is great - clear white, with no tints or hints of blue whatsoever (unlike the Hyper white Nokya, Eurolite brands which have a ricey blue tinted filament)

I was thinking of using either the jet yellows or the mirror white for the drls. Surprised more people on here havent talked about these bulbs tbh.

In all honesty - PUTCO has been more a domestic-slash-SUV-slash-truck thing.

Unfortunately (to inadvertently further insult some members here LOL) most members only know of the brands that NextMod or Garage16 sells - NOKYA, Eurolite, etc.

Also - with the recent prices in HID kits, it's the "better" choice for some people.

lights look good, i noticed on the there website that they seem truck oriented. what other stores in toronto sell that brand beside teamsls? would like to get a set of those spark white ones for my drl/highbeam instead of putting a hid kit/flickering cap.

Garage16 no longer sells nokya, they sell putco there which is sort of why I was wondering how they were. Looks good tho, the white is definitely very white. I'm interested in these purely as DRL/highbeam since I use HID's already for low. From what I'm seeing this may be the way to go

hm thanks, that doesn't look too bad at all. Will be looking into this if I keep my car
The white Nokyas looked terrible in DRL mode, they were barely on and just as piss yellow

so the bulbs are white when the lights are on but look normal in DTR mode ?

Kind of
They are whiter than the normal OEM bulbs in DRL mode but still have a yellow tint to it.

I should note - the pics I posted were from an iPhone

I paid about $30 for the pair
The reg selling price stated $50+ on line - but they did the same for Eurolite, NOKYA, etc - which never sell for that
