I am trying to decide which winter tires to get for my 2012 Mazda 3 and have narrowed it down to Barum or Firestone Winterforce. They both cost the same and was wondering if anyone has ever used either one of these brands.
Thanks

I have Winterforce. Great deep snow traction. Having said that, last winter I seemed to prefer my wife's iPikes. That might have been because they're lower profile and as such don't seem as pillowy.

The Winterforce are good for deep snow, but I find they are not as good on the ice. Had the iPike's on my last car and liked them overall. Also check out Gislaved tires. Really good for the price.

Thanks for the suggestions. Will probably check out the iPikes as well..

Deep snow: Winterforce
Barum: Hwy drives, ice, cold dry days (better handling etc.)
