Hey TM3,
Well as per my HID help post I'm sure you've all figured I'm useless by now.
I bought fog lights tonight, and I've read every possible result I can find on Google about how to install them but I'm still a bit confused.
The actual lights aren't an issue, I think my car is already wired. The problem is how do I connect the switch that turns them on and off?
Also, should I put HIDs in my fogs? Would that blind everyone?
The lenses are plastic would it melt?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

That might help.
Also, don't put HIDs in your fogs.

I've got HID fogs and it hasn't melted the housing. Plus, it's way down there, unless you actually look at it directly and level your eyes directly in front, it should not blind you or others.
Ive heard of HID's melting the fog lights.
Mine are the audi style fogs http://instagram.com/p/Q_IGmDPfOG/?fb_action_ids=10151218793249490&fb_action_types=instapp%3Atake&fb_ref=ogexp&fb_source=aggregation&fb_aggregation_id=282366635119873
For mine I had to have a tap to my interior fuse box through the firewall, run a little bit extra wire because it didnt come with enough, and from the firewall I also ran a switch to my side panel, drilled a hole, and stuck in a switch. looks cool too, because the switch lights up :p
Dont forget to ground the wires too haha
SOOO the relay should have a connection to the switch from my understanding. a split wire so you get connection to both. correct me if I am wrong, because I did have a more experienced hand guiding me along while doing this install.

The pictures online for the tutorials look nothing like the wires I have.
Can anyone please help? Should I just ignore the switch and wire them up to my low beams?

Also when I test the power on the plugs that were there for the fogs there's no power in them. Does anyone know why?

Because there is no switch on the other end?
Cleanest way to install a switch is to get hold of an OEM turn-signal stalk that includes the fog light switch.
