Well when my car is idling usually when i have my window down i hear like a switch turn on and then it hisses. I'm not sure what it is but it kind of sounds like the exhuast in not too sure. I just did a full service by myself on the , ATF, Engine oil, Power steering , plugs, MAF cleaning, Air filter. When i was done it sounded like the car had a definite leak and it was much louder, but after a while it just went away im not sure what it is because i didnt touch the exhuast system at all. If anyone has any suggestions they would be nice.

What makes you so sure it is the exhaust? Post a sound clip or else everything is just speculation.

its currently 4 in the morning but ill upload a audio clip tomorrow. I just assume it's a exhaust leak of some sort, because the exhaust was very loud for a little while. I had a jetta before and the muffler was like completely undone from the rest of the exhaust and i remember the sound very loud and deep almost the same happened for a little while, but not quite as deep. Now it just hisses.

sound like your condenser/compressor. what setting was your HVAC on? exhausts will be loud in the first few minutes of being started if it was left over night. the engine will idle a bit higher to heat itself up faster. if your hvac setting is set to defog, then the condenser/compressor will turn on as if your a/c was on. this is to dry the air going into the cabin to remove the moisture thats causing the fog. for my car it seems to do it if its set to the floor as well....
