This thing was just what I needed as an interface between the factory head unit and the Alpine amp I bought to drive my sub. Instructions on the mazda3revolution site were perfect. The pac-audio site says it works with models up to 2007 but it works perfectly with my 2011.

i got this thing as well but couldnt get it to work properly so had to pay to get it installed. it does its job but i was told that there are newer and better ones that auto-program themselves made my Metra and Scosche
