Hey guys, it's that time of the year where I need to place a burnt out head light. I was just wondering what are the best bulbs for brightness and durability? I got eurolites from Nextmod last spring and they lasted me up until now but they weren't as bright as I thought they would be so I want something even better. I am looking for pure white or bluish kinda lights, kinda like how the newer BMW's head lights. Also is it possible to get LED headlights? Ones that are bright enough to light up a dark country road at night. I live on a bumpy road so my car just bounce around a lot so I need something durable and bright.

Just get HID's and be done with it. It's what most people run anyways.

+1 some are covered under warranty too so if they do burn out. your covered. dont keep spending money on having to replace burnt bulbs

i think hes a first which should be the H7 projectors? also, led bulbs dont light up the road well.

Ya i meant DRL, i thought it looked wrong when I first typed it out. And yes I am first gen so its H7. About the HIDs, i'm a bit against them because then I might as well drive around with high beams on since both blind oncoming traffic. I donno if its just the douchey kids in Woodbridge that have em aimed high or if all are that bright. I just want a good long lasting bulb thats good for at least a year. I don't wanna spend a lot on my car at the moment because I am saving up for a motorcycle which I'm planning to get in the spring.

With a Mazda 3 you don't blind people with projectors. Plus you can manually aim them yourself so you have nothing to worry about

just get hids, saves you money in the long run. and its safer for you too with the extra light. you will however need a spacer though, which is easily hacked from the gromet it comes with.

So what exactly do I need for HIDs? and how much will it cost me?

HID's come in a kit in a variety of prices. but for the first gen we require i bit more. we need a relay harness and a capacitor. check our local sponsors on this board to get a price. sometimes they can even install it for you.

some say we dont need the capacitor. but i notice it flickers when it doesnt have it.
