AT Light came on my dash beside D

Hi all,

Iso hope someone can help me with this, I was driving and all of a sudden my AT light came on but my car was running fine. I checked the oil and transmission fluid levels and both were good. I added more oil and transmission fluid as it wasn't topped up.
Anyway, anyone ever encountered this? I drove home and was hoping it would dissapear after I turned the car off and turned it back on again and it's still there. It's Sunday and the only thing open is Mr Lube....do I take it there or wait and take it to the dealer tomorrow? Is it safe to drive?

Might just be a tranny sensor that needs to be replaced which is the best case scenario. You need to have to code read to find out what is actually causing the light to come on. I wouldn't drive it that much until you can get it looked at, just in case it is something serious. Good luck!
