Fuel pump question ???

Does anyone know what it could be
My mechanic said is the fuel pump

he has an mz3 mark..to sum it up...he needs an in tank fuel pump as his current one is about to kick the bucket.

Ah, cool. If that's all it is, guess the mechanic was right, guess I missed the point of the post.
Swapping an in tank pump is pretty easy if ya take your time.
Don't forget your brass punch. Should be able to get at it from under the rear bench.
