From what I've read, planes, choppers, bicycles, parachutes etc are back
You can modify guns, do drugs, and there's a whole underworld of guns and drugs.
Cops are more realistic, they'll chase you for longer, and you'll get a one star wanted level for speeding.

that's what i read. dont know if its from a legitimate source or not.

something like,
3 star - cops will chase you for 24 in game hours
4 star - 48 in game hours
5 star - 72 in game hours

etc etc, each level getting more and more viscous. and i think i read after 4 stars, they start mentioning you on the radio

a similar system was in Driver Paralell lines and you would have to basically follow the rules of the road near a cop or theyd start chasing/shooting the crap out of your car

i wonder if the traffic has realistic speed this time like the original san andreas.... i mean what kind of traffic goes 60 kph in a 100 zone????

I'm telling you guys now, I ran the last GTA on both PS3 and Xbox (happen to have both systems and the game for both of them...don't ask why) and if you're debating which system to get it for, or which system to get to play the game with - the answer is PS3 hands down.

I took the fastest bike in the previous game and gunned it full speed through one of the underground tunnels to see how the FPS would react. Needless to say Xbox360 ran it like complete crap and PS3 killed it.

driver parallel lines was a great game... surprised someone about that game.

yeah those driver and getaway games were like that. it made it more realistic but realism ruins the fun factor and replay value of many games. they should make things unlockable at least. like after you finish the game or certain parts or areas, then you should be able to have fun with perks such as speeding, weapons, etc. pc has all the mods, console can't do much.

I hope gameplay is more like San Andreas. That was the best game of the series imo. GTA 4 was good but not as good as San Andreas. I was a little dissapointed in it. Felt like it was going backwards in graphics and gameplay.

I give props to Rockstar for actually listening to their audience and bringing so much stuff they did right in San Andreas back. So many companies seem oblivious to their customers..

What was it about the graphics you felt went backwards? Did you just prefer the more cartoony look of the PS2 GTA games? By the sounds of all the developer discussions, it seems like they have taken all our complaints to heart (thank goodness, driving was a pain in GTAIV).
