I know Auto links has a good reputation for tinting but how is it for car audio installation. Audio Heaven is busy this weekend, otherwise I would go there. Since installing a Head Unit with no Nav or Bluetooth is not complex, should I be concerned where I get it done.

Do it yourself. Pretty simple.

If not. By all means get some 16 year old kid at future shop to install it. Doesn't really matter. Anyone can do it.

On my last car, I installed an HU while a friend was driving the car.

As long as you have the proper harness it's pretty much plug and play.

Auto Links could definitely do this job.
If it's not out of your way, so could Krown Lakeshore...... Or even MacGuyver.

do it your self if you have the supplies..roll of electrical tape, Philips screw driver, panel removal tool, soldering gun, wire strippers. go to a local shop buy the dash kit and wiring harness. Match the colours on the deck harness and the harness you just bought. Solder and tape.

Save yourself some coin, if you can. If its not something your comfortable with any audio shop should be able to do this without any issues.

I got a Kenwood DPX308U HU installed at Auto links. Guys there are very friendly and polite. The sound quality may be little better than the stock unit but nothing to write home about it. I have Apline 507 speakers in front and stock speakers in the back. I should have kept the stock HU and put an amplifier.

It is definitely something you could attempt doing on your own...and a great learning experience, but john and his crew do great work over at auto links. I go there for everything :thumbsup

MUCH easier to install an amp with an aftermarket HU.
