I guess that can be considered a problem .. While cleaning my engine bay, I noticed there's an unplugged wire hanging at the bottom of my radiator. I don't know what it's for, but I don't think Mazda would leave an unconnected wire just for fun... Or would they ? Any clues on what it could be ? I'll try to get a picture tomorrow !

Actually they would. Usually not outside though.
There is a few unconnected wires in the 3. It all depends on the options the individual car has. For example. I have one by my shifter. Pretty sure its somethings to do with the auto tranny.
Could be for fogs or many other things.
Id say hop under and see if it's maybe something that came loose and dropped off. Although I doubt it.

Could be for the ambient temperature sensor. (depending if your car came with one)

After removing my bumper to get to the bottom of this, here's what I found. I seem to have an ambient sensor that is attached to the bumper, fog lights use a different wire. This loose wire seems to come from the same one as the ambient sensor, but doesn't plug anywhere ... Should I just cut it off ?

I wouldn't. If anything zip tie it up.
