I was just lurking eBay and found this OEM Mazda iPod adapter.

The thing is, I don't exactly understand where the cable would go or where to install it.

Does anyone have one?

I have one installed. It's so hard to use that crashing is almost guaranteed if you try and fiddle with it while driving.

That's probably a safety feature. :D

I still recommend the audiolink/xcarlink option for people with the OEM HU. I don't know how well those cheap eBay ones will work, from the sound of it not the greatest haha

I had a Mazda iPod integration kit in my car..and it sucked. Wasn't easy to use, couldn't find songs very easily (at least from the steering wheel controls). My opinion is to find another way to get an ipod to hook up to your car, cause the Mazda unit sucks. What year is your car? I thought there was an AUX in (headphone style jack)? At least on my 07 there was.
