So with the weather getting colder blue has its eyes set to open dec 7

I say bring and on the boarders and skiers and let go together for some fun TM3 style.

Ill be heading out from Brampton at 630ish when i pick up my gf. I get there for nights since i have a 5x7 pass buy still I want to go with some members. Do I few runs together :) hang out take over the timmies I go to after closing time. :D

Valid for lift access Monday to Friday 9 AM – 10 PM and Saturday & Sunday from 4:30 – 10 PM. Excludes access between 9 AM - 4:30 PM from December 24, 2012 to January 4, 2013. Passes are valid for lift access, weather and conditions permitting. Night skiing is scheduled to start Thursday, December 13, 2012 and end Sunday, March 17, 2013. All rates and dates can change without notice.

You're right he is but it's too mt St. Louis , I've got a 5x7 so blue is better for me

If they do open on Dec 7 lift tickets for the whole day (9:00am-4:30pm) is only $19 so its fairly cheap as the 5x7 pass wont work on saturday. I would be down for that if there's room for noobs lol

As for the 5x7 pass that is true withe the dates I have a friend that works there and let me know they may change that no confirmed yet. Since the season was very late last year.

If any updates come up post em up.
I like to keep this open for any blue related trips meets whatever pics as well for the season. :)

Nah night time skiing starts on the 14th I believe...but let's hope they let 5x7 holders drop in on Saturday as peter mentioned that last season was crap

All I'm saying I'm excited last year was brutal, if anyone wants to know going with me pretty much every Friday and Saturday nights I go, sometimes Friday I go for afternoon to closing time.

between the 24-4 you cannot ride before 4:30 pm with a 5x7, only a daily lift ticket. after 4:30 5x7 is valid.... for all other days standard 5x7 applys

I just curious if I can use 5x7 on Dec 7th if they open the slope - as it says 5x7 night is valid from Dec 13. But seems like no one knows for sure...

You can use your pass on dec. 7th during the day as it is a weekday. Night Ski'ing will not be open yet.

They upped the price of the 5x7 pass this year and replaced the old price with a crappy value pass?? Who are they kidding.

Have they really? I noticed the value pass, but I didn't think they upped the price of the 5x7....ahh well, if you're a regular then it'll be paid off within a few visits

I live in Collingwood and I bought a pass for the first time in 6 or 7 years so I'll be out when circumstances allow. If you see a purple 08 sedan in the north parking lot that will be me.

I park there too by century express...I usually do a couple of runs on calamity lane and then head over to the south side...yeah let me know you number...I'll give you a call if I see your car there

They will never let 5x7 users "drop in" for Saturday or Sunday daytime. That's their revenue making time.

A crappy season is the risk you take when you buy the pass. If it's an amazing season, do they charge you extra the next year ? NOPE

If anyone is looking for people to go with, I run a snowboard group. There is no annual fees or anything, just a small nominal fee to cover webite hosting fees. I schedule regular trips up and arrange carpooling.

Happy Valley is DEATH Valley !!! The most dangerous run at Blue by far !!! So many beginners there that it's like dodging land mines !!

I hang out mostly on the north side. Much less busy and better snow.

I'm not always there maybe run or two stay usefully hanging around the middle and run through the trees, if its not as busy ill be happy valley bigger space and I do runs with my gf since she's still learning. I like to also fallow plow or take out the a holes ;P that don't fallow the rules or anyone that knocks my baby over hehehehe. I do the hole mounting when I feel like. Sadly to terrain park for me this year since Im still getting knee my car accident in the summer :( anywho looks like it's gonna be a good year they already making snow a lot better then last season that's for sure.
