Caught on a security camera in a parking lot . WATCH THIS - ONLY A FEW SECONDS Make sure your wife, husband, TEENAGERS, and all you friends see this! No sound, just watch. You will be flabbergasted. Okay, I think both men AND women should be aware of this. It COULD have happened to anyone of us. If you notice he got a
way with her car, purse, and keys without touching her . . . Worst of all, she couldn't even give a description of the person to the police (thankfully there wasn't a child in the car.) I hate to admit it, but I could see myself doing exactly what she did. I'm glad I saw this video.

And that is why I ALWAYS do a walk around of my car before I hop in. Check for flats, damages or dumb shit like that

Would the Speed3 smart key have stopped that move?

Very good lessons to be learnt from that video.

Looks like it was staged though for the purpose of education.:rolleyes

I've seen this one before. This is the video that actually made me paranoid and do my workarounds.

Would the Speed3 smart key have stopped that move?

If it's anything like the smart keys in my Sportage, if you leave the engine running when you exit the vehicle to investigate the noise, no. My Sportage will beep loudly if the smart key is more than 1 car length away from the vehicle but the engine will keep running. However, once you turn the engine off without the smart key, there won't be a way to turn on the engine again.

+1. But I do random checks when I feel something is up or when I park downtown.

I never get out of my car without taking my keys. Force of habit. I've locked myself out too many times to risk it.

This is why I always get paranoid when I have to go inside the house for second while my car is warming up in the morning ( in the garage with the garage door open).... I usually run and fetch whatever I want in fear of someone just hopping in..... that said I live in an rea where you could leave your doors unlocked ( not that i do) and no one would do crap....... still a good idea to be careful since areas with less cops = more crooks
