Driving 2006 Mazda3 2.3 5doors. Last month got the code P0126. Engine Light on most of the time, but something it turns off and later go on again. Dose anybody know what's issue? Please help!

P0126 is; "Insufficient coolant temperature for stable operation", meaning your thermostat is shot and needs replacing. Some suggest changing out the temperature sensor at the same time, I don't think it's necessary myself. But definately the thermostat. It'll cost you about $80 for the thermostat at the dealer with the TM3 discount...It's a good thing the thermostats are 'failsafe' i.e they always fail in the open position as we'd have alot of toasted engines out there I think. Anyways good luck.

Thermostat, common problem. Might just need a PCM update from Mazda. Take to the dealer.

i had the same code last month got it checked at igarage
ivan said it was the thermostat replaced and coolant flush for 180

Sorry, kinda a noob question:
Where do you get the code if there is a probelm, is it on the dash?

You will get a CEL ( check engine light)
Then you plug in an OBD2 reader ( or go to a mechanic or part source) and the reader will tell you the code.
