I ordered this product online a week after purchasing my new ride. Heard a lot of good reviews about it, apparently showroom detailers swear by it, so I decided to make a quick video just for FUN!
...because I was bored actually...

Anybody else use it before?

I tried to order it from their site once and shipping was in the hundreds of dollars so I ended up with some Chemical Brothers stuff instead

Check out http://www.eshine.ca/ and select poorboys by brand. I usually get all my detailing products from this site, it's amazing! However the wheel sealant is almost always sold out.
So check out here as well: http://www.wisdomdetail.ca/ and select 'poorboys' by brand. They operate directly from here...Toronto LOL. Ordered it late on a Saturday night, shipped Monday, arrived Tuesday with regular ground shipping :D
FYI, I learned all this from the 'detailing tips and tricks' section in this forum from auto.ca: http://www.autos.ca/forum/index.php/topic,66488.msg821958.html#msg821958
CanuckG35 is the mod of this section and is a professional detailer by trade from what I gathered.
Hope this helps :)

PB's wheel sealant is good but it doesn't last that long..I mean you can get the same shine from a paint sealant if you apply it to wheels but for DIYers like yourself PB wheel sealant is worth it because you can reapply when there no protection left. Plus this thing makes it stupid easy for you to clean the brake dust off.

My wife just called me, found out an old $@^%'n couple backed into our Mazda in a parking lot. She's fine thank God. Nonetheless, I'm on full RAGER mode right now. Today our car is exactly a month old from purchase. Amazing, simply amazing. :bang

So sorry to hear that. What kind of damage? Will you go through insurance?

I checked the damage when my wife came home. Not as bad as I thought, noticeable damage to front bumper only and not on hood as she told me. Also noticed a separate scuffed area on the left corner of the front bumper probably from another careless driver not skilled at egress or ingress into parking spaces. Wow, in exactly 1 month, an accident and just noticed the clues of another unknown to me until tonight.
I called the person's contact number 3 times tonight and left a voice message but still no call back. Was looking to do them a favor and meet up tomorrow right away and head to an collision repair shop so it'll stay out of the carproof records and not raise their premium since their at fault. Win/Win for both but I guess I have to go through the insurance route :( FML.

Ok ok.. bad joke.
Truly sorry it happened to you guys. Hope it all works out for you in the end. Would the police be able to help?

Damage is less than $1000. Plus on private property since its parking lot so they wouldn't come either way unless serious accident. Called up my insurance company, wife told them the story (Car A backed-up into Car B (Mazda) on thoroughfare leading onto road. They followed up with the other party's insurance company, guy never ended up calling his insurance company, my agent called him and he refused to give details until he spoke to his agent. We ended up waiting and wasting time for something to happen, then eventually, guy returns my calls, apologizes for not picking up and asks if we'd like to take care of it w/o insurance. My wife TOLD HIM that's what we're trying to do all along but he kept dicking around. She took the car to work and gets off by the time the collision center is closed.
I want to get this resolved right away before the holidays before it becomes a week or two since the incident and anything can happen dealing with the other party. And with my luck, nothing will happen until then since:
A) the other party won't answer calls, unless it's convenient for him, to arrange a meeting.
B) my wife doesn't care and is enjoying watching me spazzz like a rabid raccoon.
C) it's the end of the world
Happy holidays!

Thanks. My first mod was to hopefully get a car cam, just to always have video proof. Didn't know something like this would happen too soon. Now I need one more than ever lol

Got it taken care of today. Took it to Assured Auto in Oakville, the estimate for the repair is $651.51. Called the other party and told them the damage, they refused to go the private route, not surprised. So insurance will take care of it, scheduled to be taken care of on the 3rd. As for the other damage on the left corner of the bumper, the rep told me they would take care of it for free. Knew this would be the final outcome but glad this is resolved now. :)

Insurance paying direct?
If so. It won't be free or 650. It will be over 1000. Lol. ( we all do)

They're waiting on the other insurance company to file the claim but the process is already under way, my insurance company already sent the paper work to collision repair center, will be getting a rental when repair happens. Depending on what the insurance adjuster sees when he assesses the damage, if the collision rep comes through and covers the other scratch since the whole bumper has to be re-painted, we'll see.
If and when it turns out to be the other party is at fault, his insurance can figure out the costs but at this point it's definitely higher than the usual $500 deductible. Either way, I could care less unless by some random freak turn of events, I'm to blame and have to pay up.

finally picked up my baby from the shop earlier today. looks brand new again. had to pay $500 deductible since found out at pick up, the other party still hasn't called his insurance company and filed his at-fault claim as promised. It's been 2+ weeks since I last spoke to the guy, what a douche. I've been calling him like a concerned mother to follow up on his lazy ass. this is ridiculous LOL.

According to him after speaking with him late this evening, he finally claimed the accident to his insurance company. Dude has the audacity to be pissed off at me for following up with him. I will call my insurance company tomorrow morning and find out from the other company if a claim was indeed reported, if no claim was made on his end and if he's dragging this out or refusing to acknowledge the incident. I will head to the local police station and file a report and obtain documentation of the incident and proceed from there. If the police call him, maybe he will listen. If not, small claims court might wake him up. From such a small fender bender to this :S Usually I would let this pass, but I'm sick and tired of being SOL for so long. I'm willing to spend my time escalating this to the next level, cause now it's somebody else's turn. Sorry for my bitterness :(

It's understandable, I mean I've been in a few fender benders but haven't had this happen to me.

With no fault insurance, the insurance company for the other party doesn't pay your insurance company anything, regardless of who is at fault. Each insurance company pays for their own client. Parking lot accidents are tricky - was your car parked at the time? More often than not, when it comes to parking lot accidents, the insurance company rules it a 50/50 responsibility since it's much harder to determine fault compared to a roadway incident. That is why they made you pay the deductible, because they need to 100% proof that it was the other drivers fault before they will declare anything but a 50/50 responsibility. Unfortunately, as it stands, this will likely show up on your record as an at fault accident unless you prove it was the other drivers fault and get your insurance company to change their current determination.

Au contraire mon frere.
Automobile Insurance Laws within the province of Ontario: http://www.fsco.gov.on.ca/en/auto/Pages/default.aspx.
The latest Fault Determination Rules insurance companies are mandated by law to follow: http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/html/regs/english/elaws_regs_900668_e.htm
The 50/50 rule is a myth and is not why I had to pay my deductible at the collision center. The other party eventually notified their insurance company and filed their at-fault accident confirming our story. I stated I was willing to file a police report and go to small-claims court to establish my not at fault claim. Nevertheless, my insurance company is reimbursing me the $500 deductible, the check is on it's way in the mail and the accident is filed as NOT AT FAULT.
According to the latest reforms made in 2010, it is illegal for your insurance company to raise your premium if you were determined to be in a not at fault accident. You are right, it may show on my record, but I could care less as I'm not looking to sell the car in the future.
In the end, my car is fixed. I was determined to be not at fault. My reimbursement check of $500 is in the mail. My premium won't rise. Life is good :)
