Paint chips are becoming a bit of a maintenance nightmare for me.

Car's just about 2 going on 3 years old and already 2 paint chips that rusted before I got them. So have to sand it down and do all that dance. Doesn't help this weather's cold so the touch up paint doesn't always cure reliably.

Hoping this latest repairs holds. I don't really want to pay for a shop to repair the panels cause you know you are just going to get more chips anyhow :P

yeah i have a fair share of stone chips that need to be fixed. being low does not help either lol i'm going to wait until the spring to do it cause of the cold weather. there's not much you can do really :( no rust for me so far tho

The joys of living in canada where they dump so much salt itll chip your paint AND rust your car...
Found a rusty spot the size of a pinhead in the center above my windshield yesterday after washing, but unfortunately it is raining and cold so I cant take care of it. Kills me.

After the first year.. I could care less. I bought the car used, who knows how neglecting the previous owner was. I gave up caring for stone chips and stuff long time ago. It will rust regardless and I don't have the funds to pump into a paint job if rust was the issue. I do look forward to driving a rust bucket with nice rims though.

if it's not a stone chip, it's a dent in the door from someone in the parking lot, if its not that, it'll be something else - you can't win lol
