I have a '12 and the glove box door sticks, the issue seems to have gotten worse with the cold weather. It doesn't always happen and it usually opens smoother once the day progresses and the outside temp rises, but even then I can feel it drag a bit after first pulling on the latch. I have an appointment to take it in on Tuesday, but was wondering if anyone has had this issue and what the outcome was.
Thanks!

having something similar here. I don't open it often enough to make an appt for it at the moment, but would like to know what they say when you take it in to get it checked out.
My glove box seems to pull to the left when it's opening/closing, same with you?

i have 3 2010s. when its cold. they all seem to move slower. just might be the way it is. i wouldnt say it goes to the left. but the dash is designed in the way it looks like it would go that way as it is not straight or flat across. unless you can post some pictures if it moves drastic to the left when open / close.

Just as I figured would happen, the glove box was opening just fine today and the last day or two so I cancelled my appointment. I'm going to have to wait until it's sticking again and drive straight to the dealer.

try spraying some lube like white lithium grease onto the latch, thats prolly what they will do when you bring it in

Guys, I've brought mine in for the same reason. 2012 skyactiv gs hatch. I know what the problem is since I had to tell the mechanic after he said it's normal when compared to another exact vehicle on their lot. (I hate that type of troubleshooting)
The right side of the glovebox door has a notch inside that when closed hits a protruding area on the dash part. In other words, it rubs on the way to being closed. I noticed it because of wear. A whitish wear on plastic. The whole door is one piece and just snapped into place. No screws to help adjust it unfortunately. Might have to fiddle with it in spring.
