I know it's a Mazda 3 forum but, this is my other car.

A little clip of me doing the Texas Mile, unfortunately a lot of the footage didn't turn out but I think these guys put together a great clip.
I also did some interviews for a webs series and a TV show while down there. I'm not sure if any of that will make it to air but if it does, I could post it up if anyone is interested.

I also was sent this clip of the advertisement for the upcoming Texas Mile event. A bunch of people sent it to me as I am briefly in it. A shot of the car (exterior) and another shot of me driving (in car).

Not sure if anyone is interested but I will be going back to this event in October to try and break the 3V Mustang standing mile world record. I drove the current world record car, owned by a buddy of mine and with my new transmission, I should be able to exceed what he did last year.
If anyone wants to drive down to Texas with us, you are more than welcome and you too an test what you and your car can do.

Nothing like a little friendly competition.
One way or another, the record is getting broken in October, just not sure who will hold the title at the end of the event.

I drove this car from Toronto to the Tail of the Dragon, to New Orleans and then to Texas for The Texas Mile.

Not a trailer queen.

If anyone is interested, I can post up some info and pics of the new build and more race events as they come up.

I'll be switching the set up for this season. I'm removing the Saleen Twin Screw supercharger and installing top mount twin turbos and maybe a little giggle juice (N2O).

Power level for this coming race season should exceed 1000rwhp and 1000rwtq.
I built the motor to hold upwards of 1400 so throwng 1000 at t should not be an issue.

Was the most fun I had with my clothes on. Other than the pro teams, everyone was cool. Even the Ford racing team was cool. The other teams like Cadilac and the Camaro teams were all hush as to not share any info, wouldn't even lend a socket.

The amateurs were all their to help each other go faster. I worked on cars that I hadn't even met the owners yet. Just to help swap parts from broken cars to working cars and vice versa. Swapping belts, wheels, tensioners, water pumps etc just to help everyone go faster. A real grass roots type event but with good media coverage. Was great for picking up sponsors from big companies that aren't local.

If anyone wants to drive down with our group, just shoot me a message and I will get you the info need. We are headed back down for the October event which is October 23-24. They just sent me the info yesterday.

HAHA, they are so secretive and trailer their cars, and then have teams of 10-20 technicians, trying to work on their cars.

We drove from Toronto and without even checking tire pressures, and in street trim, we hit the track

****ing Dicks though HAHA

Well, the first one shows off your car nicely ;) lol

Gonna have to have a closer look at this beast at a future meet. Your planned power gains are insane (in a good way).

I haven't heard or read about anyone putting that power out on the same motor for a street car yet so it may be a first to break 4 digits on a street car for a 3V that started as a 281ci (4.6L) and is now a 302ci (5.0L)

Lots of 5.4, 5.8 and 6.0s are into 4 digits though but they are strictly track beasts.

Nothing like a 10,000km road trip to prove its a street car.

I love the side exits and they are the only one like that in the country. There are other side exits but they kind of look cheesy to me. Kind of Canadian Tire like. HAHA

I have to get the tips ceramic coated and the skirts repainted. The exhaust was a little hot and burnt the paint a bit. HAHA
