Hey i'm thinking of getting my headlights painted black on the inside (like corvettes). I have only seen a couple of guys in the states do it and i was wondering if anyone here has done it and how it came out?

Look at Hyperion's ride thread. Another member would be Celestespeed.

You can get them here with halos. I think these are better as you can keep your OEMS as back ups.

Painting = Easy
Baking open the headlights = Not easy

That's just the rings painted, and reflector smoked (can't remove cause leaves a terrible looking gap). And if you want to paint the reflector bowls, don't.
Not sure what 2010's look like or how they open up.

User -RJ3- painted his high-beam reflector bowls with transparent yellow. Looks awesome and still functional.

2nd gens ate lots of fun.
You will have a hard time using an oven because they won't fit... Both times I did it.
Heat gun and patience.
Opening it up isn't the problem, closing it is.

Blue Angel eyes? So the only time you can turn those on would be when you're parked. I don't know about you, but I find that a waste of effort.

Not black but these were my old headlights, on my sedan back in early 2010 I did.

I am currently working on another set with angel eyes. Celestspeed3's were also done by the both of us. They were successfully sealed using a different method over the stock sealant. When my headlights are done I will reveal them

Thanks, but my new ones are going to be alot nicer imo. Just waiting on the last peice to button them up. The new ones will also have clear lenses in them for a nicer cutoff and better light output
