CD player sketchy playing burnt MP3 cd's

I have a 2012 Mazda3 GT with the Bose single CD player. I will admit I have only used the CD player a few times since I have owned it as I have XM. I have played a bunch of burnt MP3 CD's fine up until tonight and actually realized that I have made at least 40 CD's that don't work... Do I need to burn the CD's in a certain format or way or is it particular with the brand of CD I am using?

What format and cd's are you using.

I know it's different them OEM but my old alpine deck didn't like certain cd's.

Yes, I know all media is not made the same.

I am using Memorex 700mb CD's. I tried another brand that I had too.

I was burning UDF and not doing "multi session". I tried buring at 8x and then changed to "Disc at once" even. I just tried burning in ISO format and it actually played!

I am writing on the discs how I am burning and trying a few at a time. I think I might try and buy some TAIYO YUDEN as I know they are good quality and suggested for Nitendo Wii backups.

I am curious though if anyone else is experiencing problems? I thought everything was fine up until today with my new car... Unless it is just that it doesn't like this one particular brand of blank Cd's... (which is possible)

Looks like burning in ISO format solved the problem.
