Remote not locking the doors.

Got out of my 2007 Mazda3 today and tried to lock the doors with the remote. Nothing happens. Pressed the lock button twice and no honk. I had to lock the doors with the key. I thought it may be the remote battery so I got my other remote and the same thing. The doors unlock with the remote and the panic button works but it will not lock with the remote. I have three remotes and the same thing with all threee. Any Thoughts?

Check all your doors to make sure they are latched. Trunk as well.

When you turned off the key and pulled it out was the car beeping? If it is it won't allow the car to lock. For some reason mine does this sometimes. I just put the key back in turn it and pull it back out. Works every time.

+1. Make sure the door open icon on the dash isn't on.

It's the trunk that's the tricky one ;) Got me a few years ago, doesn't tell you if it's open either (at least not in 2004-5)
