Hey
Just noticed that in the cold weather, below -10, my door open light stays on even when the door is closed. Dome lights and interiors stay on. However, once the car is warm and then the car is turned off the lights/ door open light goes out. Was wondering if any one else has noticed a similar behaviour and if this is a sign of the sensor going or just the cold winter having fun.

Yep, I've had it happen a couple of times. Switch is in the door latch. I think it is due moisture getting driven in by the car wash which then freezes and auses the switch to bind. Proper lubrication keeps it from happening (needs to be something that doesn't evaporate).

Not strictly linked to the car wash, but yeah had this happen a couple times last year to me

Cool. Thanks for the replies. I will have to lubricate that once it finally warms up.
